Benford's Law Analysis — # People

Benford’s Law (also called the First-Digit Law) predicts that in many naturally-occurring datasets the leading digit d appears with probability P(d) = log₁₀(1 + 1/d). This is not a fraud-detection test here; rather it surfaces how varied the headcounts are across events. Rooms with stereotyped headcounts (e.g., always 10 or always 50 people) will deviate strongly. Data through Apr 12 2026. Analysis is at event granularity (not hour-expanded).
